Hi Dave, Just returned from Rokville. Love your shots of the bridge from the East side, but may I ask where did you shoot these from. I tried and tried to find this view point and failed.

Thanks

Nice collection of photos. I especially enjoyed the photos of the Edgar Thomson works and from Duquesne. I grew up in the Munhall/Homestead area.

Dave -
Have admired your railfan photography for awhile so came in for a look around. Very impressive. Especially enjoyed the views of the aurora over Rockville Bridge, and the old Duquesne steel ruins. Haunting images.

And I see you've photo'd the snow geese at Middle Creek....my wife and I used to hike near there often. I first tested my tripod and telly lens (several years ago) during one of the migrations. Wish I knew what happened to the photos...

Dave,
Saw your pictures of the birds after reading your post on PABIRD. Really good pictures all the way around.

Your location prompted me to sign this, as I live in N. Middleton Twp. near the fairgrounds.

Thanks for sharing your work.

wonderful pictures of the dynamic and revitalized PRR passenger service. this gives me great hope for the continued boon in the economy and especially the welcomed growth in Pennsylvania of the PRR passenger service among the cities of Pennsylvania and throughout the Northeast.
