San Pedro Church or "Sistine Chapel Of Americas", Andahuaylillas

This colonial church is richly decorated with amazing frescos dated back in to Francisco Pissaro times, thus earning a recognition as "Sistine Chapel Of Americas". I will post more images from this church in this gallery. The thing to realize is that photography is strictly prohibited in the church, for some stupid reason, you have 3-4 guards who enforce this rule and constantly walking around you. So, I ended up shooting from the hip up and at incredibly slow shutter speeds anywhere from 0.5 sec to 1/10. Guards were absolutely irritated and disturbed by ongoing "bip-bip" sound of AF and "tscheetz" of shutter release, while having no idea how to catch this ghost... Not too many people have an advantage to see these shots, so enjoy the moment !

Amigo, you really scared me with your insight, as I never paid an attention to that mysterious figure. To make things even worse... This subject looks like a personage from biblican stories dated back to the times of Christ, don't you think so ? Look at his clothes !
Oh, what I see here ?! You didn't comment on this the most prolific Peruvian gallery as a whole ? You still have a chance as yesterday it was my birthday, and your generous remarks would make it a nice gift, ah ?

Hello most sneaky one. So you go around taking pictures where photography is prohibited? I will bet that you that this was not the first time you have done such a thing. I know. I know because I am your co-conspirator. But look out... it appears that on the balcony that one of the Peruvian Church camera goon-guards is looking right at you - absorbing your face into memory so that upon your return to Peru, he personally will be prepared to escort you directly down to the River Styx (taking Dante and Virgil's path). But don't worry... I hear the "River Styx" has become, in the underworld, a high end Gourmet French Restaurant specializing in "Matzoh Ball Soup" and "Latkes" (potato pancakes purposely made with too much oil). And of course, we get to wash all down with Kosher Manichevitz Wine, imported from Newark New Jersey. Ciao Amigo. Michael.
