This is a chianti from one of the best wine makers in Italy. Usually I don't like chianties, on contrary to everybody else, but this one delivers to expectations. It has medium body, very violet "inspired" nose, exceptional hints of tobacco and blueberries with small touch of gooseberries, super combination ! This wine is relatively expensive at around $17 CND, yet it's worth every penny... That dinner was complimented with delicious aubergines, tomatos and green peppers stuffed with roasted ground beef along with bocconcini salad !
