Here are some of the best results I got from the Olympus C8080 in 2005 !
20 x 30 cm prints are as sharp as the images in this gallery with incredible details,
thanks to the 8 megs sensor, the outstanding optic and to the OLYMPUS engineering team, your Camera rocks, guys :o) .

It's 'only' a
bridge but ... with a live histogram, that is an awesome function, plus many
parameters to play with! It is compact compared to a DSLR, is silent, a great value for a
small price.

Please consider adding a tips section to your site so we can see what settings you use under different conditions, I just bought a C8080 and I want to read what others have found to work well, your shots are crystal clear, very nice work!

Wow! great comments about the phtographer aswell as the camera. I have been working my c8080 for two years now, and I appreciate it more and more. Although I have been looking for a possible successor all over the place, I still haven't found a non-dslr that will do. Hopefully Olympus will see the light and develop an improved version of this wonderful camera (not changing too much:make it a bit more compact maybe and upgrade to an even better chip). I have to agree that this camera has a very sharp lens. I also find the histogram function immensely useful. The camera is only as good as the photographer, and your photos show just how good a photographer you are.

Je viens de découvrir vos photos en cherchant plus de détails sur le C-8080. Un seul mot me vient à l'esprit: Magnifique. Le cadrage, la netteté et les couleurs m'ont le plus impressionné. Le C-8080 me tente beaucoup bien que je n'avais pas envisagé mettre un budget pareil. Le C-7070 reste une alternative moins coûteuse mais difficile de savoir à quel point le résultat sera en deçà des résultats du C8080. Luc du Luxembourg

Great gallery! I've used an 8080 for a lot of my galleries as well . It's a great camera - I find it a bit slow and tend to use my D70 more now, but I agree the image quality is amazing for a digicam, as your pics demonstrate well.

J'ai pris le temps de regarder attentivement la totalité des photos de votre gallerie. Elles sont trés belles et je suis émerveillé par votre sens artistique et la qualité des éclairages. Les travaillez vous beaucoup en retouche sous Photoshop ou autre logiciel du même type ? Bravo en tout cas et je vote pour vous sans réserves

En effet, la perspective fut corrigée en utilisant Photoshop, mais avec un escabeau je crois qu'il serait possible de faire la photo. Et merci à André pour le compliment, cela fait toujour plaisir !

En fait c'est l'appareil qui a attié en premier mon regard sur la liste des nouvelles photographies du jour. Bien m'en a pris car vos images sont très belles et en plus vous parlez Français, ce qui facilite le dialogue. Si je peux me permettre de répondre à Georges, je crois que vous retouchez la perspective avec un logiciel ad hoc ! Est-ce que je me trompe ?

quand vous prenez une image du detail d'une fenêtre à l'arche de la défense, est-ce que vous utilisez un soft pour redresser les verticales ou s'agit-il de l'image source ?
