An afternoon trip with friends ended up at one of my favourite viewing spots....the pond with black swans. Every time we visit I'm astounded by the size and beauty of these magnificent birds. Swan facts: Swans are known to have a triumph ceremony. Such ceremonies are when a male attacks a rival suitor, then returns to his potential mate to perform an elaborate ceremony while posturing and calling. ~ Animal Bytes
