Hit by a car, deer dies in nearby field and is gone in 48 hours except for the bones. More than a
dozen eagles and more than a dozen turkey vultures descended on this deer carcass. Non stop feeding
with a definite pecking order. First up was a mature American Bald Eagle, followed by other mature and
immature eagles, followed by the vultures, and then the ravens and crows.
