Very, long and broad wings with brownish upperwing coverts, slight dusky mottling on underwing coverts, a broad white trailing edge to secondaries and inner primaries, point towards an advanced third year bird. The extent of the trailing white edge of wings and an overall lack of head streaking as well as shear size eliminate Lesser Black-backed Gull as a candidate.
