Great fish photos! I had a 90 gallon fresh-water setup with some Africans, but had the carpet replaced in my house and haven't had the time to set it up again. Those are very hard photos to capture and looks like you have it perfected.

Hi there, Thanks for visiting my page. Didn't see your msg until now.

Yes, I love taking pic of my fish as well.

I notice all your fish pic are top notch - very very sharp details, balanced lightnings and subjects that looks as if they pose.

Any tips on lighting the subject? I find that flash will discolor the scales to a degree, and room light gives reflections.

Using a tripod?

What about a good macro lense for the EOS? I'm looking into the 100mm macro (L?)

Man, your fish pictures are amazing! I have re-thought my 120G reef and think I'm just gonna do a FOWLR for now. Since the weather is warming up, I will put my energy (money) into a Koi pond.

Great shots!

I can't stop looking at your fish pictures, how did you manage to take so many good shots? I have tried to take some pictures of fish and they did not come out as good as yours. I will be back for more!

Thanks for visiting my galleries. Took a look at your work and you obviously are having fun. The outdoor shots especially the fishing by the bridge in the evening is artfully done.

Aloha

Hey, nice collection yourself, dude. This is Jesse...thanks for posting your kind comments in my guestbook...I didn't use a flash at all, although I'm impressed you used it. How did you not get it kicked back to you from the glass? That's amazing...you got some nice clean shots with flash and not one with glare or anything. I just pressed the camera (and myself) on the glass displays in very awkward positions, stopped breathing and clicked away. It took a LOT of shots to get the ones I got though, but you have a really impressive collection and very nice colors as well. Where in Queens are you, maybe we can hook up and go shoot together? Hollah back,
Jesse
