Hey, I just noticed the comment you left on my photos. I appreciate you taking the time to look. I am getting ready to leave for college, but once I settle down I will take more time to browse your gallery.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I also have a 10D which I used to use for foodphotography, sometimes I calibrated with a grey card, sometimes I did not, I got reasonable WB though through either method, with both tungsten & flash. I think your 10D may need some attention or your lighting is confusing it, setting the custom WB is not that difficult & worth it IMHO. Good luck.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the comment in my gallery. I have a 10d which does indeed have white balance issues but getting a "better" camera to sort it out is not a viable option. It's the kind of cam that meters & white balances the same scene differently on 2 consecutive shots at times. The gallery in question was a batch process through Irfanview and, given this is not pro work, WB was not critical.
Thanks for your concern though,

Jim

Hi Steve, Thanks for coming on Brians site. You have some great shots on your sites. I like the Southern Red Sea Diving 2004 site. Before my accident I was going to Fla to Miami Fishing. I have a friend that lives on Biscayne Bay. I had been going down for about three or four weeks a year for the past 20 years. We would go the Keys on his boat for 3 or 4 days and to the Bahamas for the same. He has a 35 Ft twin diesel. We scuba some. But most of the time we would just free dive. If we went over 50 or 60 Ft we would scuba. Most of the time we would free dive to spearfish and get lobster. Good stuff. Great Site Steve. Oh My friend in Fla is Dr William S. Seplow DC,PA,DACBSP. If you are avery in Miami look he up.................JCRIII
