Occasionally you stumble across a body of work on Pbase and it just blows you away. Your work stands heads and shoulders above the rest Andrew.

Everything from the technical to the artistic is all here in abundance. Great attention to detail, composition, eye for colour and above all quality in every image.

Thank you for sharing and the inspiration.

Hi Andrew

Stumbled upon your site and could not drag myself away - some really lovely images with a lot of thought obviously going in to them.
When I saw the ones of Lulworth Cove,I could see Portland Bill, where I was using my kit this last weekend - exactly the same - D200,18-200mm VR and Sigma 10-20mm - great kit and really all you need.
Am looking to sell my 70-200mm Sigma 2.8 as it is just too heavy ,not as versatile as the 18-200mm VRF and of course does not have VR.
Love the Paris photo's too.
regards Mike

Hi Andrew,

I think you're a great photographer. You're added to my favorites.
I would like to know how do you get photos to look like they do (example Paris and Jordan galleries). There's a lot of dynamic range in them. How do you achieve this with filters or with Photoshop? I would appreciate it if you could answer that!

Tim

Andrew,

thanks for your comments in my Savannah gallery. The lines in the floor are guides that are used by the large canons used during the civil war.

Thanks again,

Pete

Thanks TJ, there are more pictures on the way over the next week or so - time permitting. I haven't used a D20 but I guess it depends on your budget. The D70s can be picked up for a lot less... Both will do an excellent job. If you're new to DSLRs then you might even consider the D50. Both the D70 & D50 have excellent handling. Whatever you choose, be prepared for a certain amount of post-processing. These cameras take quite 'flat' images to maximise the potential for tinkering on the PC.
