Hi Mike,

You have an excellent pictures!!!! The Sony A200 is an excellent camera. However, it seems that you like the outdoors a lot!!! Maybe consider buying the Sony A700 than the A200.The A700 has a more rugged body.

God Bless.

Mike, you need not thank me (in your profile) for finding your galleries, as I was doing a search for "Max Planck" + "Blaise Pascal" + Plato + "Jesus of Nazareth" + "rock climbing." Your site was the most interesting of all the hits I got.

Enjoyed a good laugh and browse around your work. I added you into my favorites to return and watch for new posting. Love the humor and technical work your photos. Must do some similar things in mine.

May all your troubles be small ones... you can climb over the larger ones I bet.

Cheers Barry

Thank you for your comments on my "They told me that I had gone totally insane and that my methods were unsound." You're the only one who got it!!! I really enjoy your galleries. I love your sense of humour. There aren't too many of us philosophers left in this world, so I'm pleased to meet another. Good show!

Mike, thanks for visiting my galleries and adding so many great comments. I am but an ageing hiker, would love to have got bold enough to do the rock climbing thing, but more than satisfied with the places I get to see.........Oh, and yes, bald rock national park is a rock climbers paradise, although I did it the easy way

Oklahoma has winter, too.
The grass is dry from no rain. Remember all the fires in OK last year?
Thanks for touring my gallery. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yours is awesome.

Thanks for your comment and visiting my gallery.
There was a funny comment with the shot about I was missing the shot of a lifetime with concentrating on trying to get a reflection shot of the lighthouse. My shot of the lighthouse is in my lighthouse gallery, did not get it the way I wanted because the camera I had at the time was limited somewhat.

That Hamster being fat?
I don't know about this hamster in particular, This was a news flash but I do know about hamsters in general.
When relaxed or if they've been a sleep, they puff up in a comfortable little ball of fur.
This is their relaxed mode which of coarse makes them appear even more appealing.
Many new owners that have never had a hamster before become startled when this little furball hoards food in it's cheek pouches.
Their cheeks become huge when packed with food, some of them look as if they're going to burst
:)

Mike, I enjoyed your rock-climbing photos. They remind me of Basic Climbing Class two decades ago (I loved short exposures of vertical rock as long as I was top-roped). It's cool that kids get involved: it helps build their confidence. On belay!
