your restaurant, nam kwok, appears in the movie 'valley of the dolls'. it is towards the end of the film, maybe in the final 30 minutes? it is seen the background of the street scenes that show the playhouse theater on 48th st. these are night scenes, so the bar neon sign is lit up. you had a very cool sign!

Dear Mr. Lee.
I remember China Lane, I grew up in NYC Chinatown and attended True Light Church and
Chinese school from 1955 thru 1966 and moved to Brooklyn. I now live in upstate
NY with my Wife.
Thanks for posting the photo.

Mr. Lee,
Browse your photos are fun with lots of fishes caught since I like fishing too. Glad to know you enjoy your trip & good food in Toronto too.

Hi, FSL, I wandered here after reading your comments of my grandson at my gallery. Thank you!

I enjoyed viewing and reading your dining experiences with your daughter and son-in-law. Saw your pretty wife too. I can see that you are a loving family who share so much together.

Bless you all!

It was a pleasure to take a look at your galleries. My only disappointment was that you haven't visited Hawaii (just joking). You and your daughter's pictures are a joy to visit. I think your enthusiasm is infectious.
I've found surfing the various galleries on Pbase to be a great way to travel around the world and see what others find enjoyable.
My warmest regards, enjoy your retirement.

Hello! Thanks for visiting my galleries, glad you liked them. I see that among your many, many travels, you were in my home state of Alaska for a while. Where exactly did you guys fly out to? Looks like good fishing wherever it is! Take care, - Ben

You have a wonderful family, best of luck with your fishing in 2004. I enjoyed your galleries very much also, especially the old photos as they gave me a sense of who you are.
Happy New Year !!

Thanks for visiting my galleries. You seem to definitely have a passion for fishing, those are some nice fish you've caught. I like your "Chinatown's from around the world", the Butte Montana one was humorous. I'd like to see more if you have them

thanks
