Gul!! Fantastic images - really amazing shots. I'm looking around for a nicer lense than my basic 18-55 mm. Any recommendations? You should actually think about making a book out of your photos :)

Hope yoonhee and nikki are doing well. See you soon!

Gul, when I first saw these photo collections, I was so overwhelmed. I wanted to leave individual comments that day, but found I had to wait, digest, and come back. It's clear there is a story behind so many of these photos. Your imagination, your ability to frame a moment, your sense of scale and color and emotion -- what a joy to behold! Thank you for bringing these photos to my attention.
With best wishes, Mindy

Wonderful! Impressive. My brother S. Wilson directed me to your site. I am visiting him soon and my hobby is to attempt to take pictures that tell a story, to make you feel part of the photo. Any hints on film type and speed or filters. I am coming from US so would like to be prepared for the conditons in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia. I have a Nikon N65. Thanks so much.

I had the same problem as Thomas. I thought I had taken good pictures as well went I went to Burma last year but even if we visited the same places, my pictures have nothing to do with yours. These are very impressive and very useful as a reference. I traveling to India in a few months so I will try to do my best there. By the way, many thanks for sharing.

Hi Gul: Your galleries continue to be flourishing and speak of your versatility and absolute ease with your subject matter. I still place your photograph with the two "bodyguards" among your best.

Also, I want to thank you for your comments on my pic. of that wooden shed with contrast and shadows in E.Sierra. Indeed, it was the contrasting light of the noon with the sun overhead. Plus, I purposely increased the contrast in photoshop for the effect. Best wishes. JARIS

Hi Gul,
As the matter of fact, by the time I got in the monastery In Amorgos I had exactly the same thoughts with you. Either stay for some time there, or that it could be s super hotel...
If you ever come in Greece, try to visit it. It worth it.
Cheers

Hi Gul,
I do like the way you look at things and capture them with your camera. Very nice collections from Asia.
About your question in my Pad gallery. The photo you saw is from the "Chozoviotissa monastery" in Amorgos island in Greece, which was built in 812. I'm gonna upload some more photos from this place.
Cheers.
George.

Gul,

Your gallery entertained me till well past my bedtime, so I have marked you as a favorite to revisit. You are an excellent photographer with an artist's eye for color and a sociologist’s sense for people.... I do not know how to say enough about the quality of your work.

Then there is the subject matter. It was like visiting many places I will not be able to get to.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Gul,

Your pictures from Cambodia are awesome. Thank you for sharing. We'll taking our two girls to Cambodia, too this summer. Mostly for Education. We have so much in the United States and they need to visit Cambodia, and they need to know what happen to their grand Mother.

Hi Gul:

Thanks for visiting my photo.net website. Seems like we share similar interest i.e. diving, photography and a passion for wide angle shots. Are you a Singaporean? You have an interesting website.

Excellent shots of soldiers and scenes. Surprised that one of the other visitors here hasn't yet gone berserk screaming, "How can you refer to 'my soldiers' as a 'brood of peacocks!!!!'."
