The Milky Way "erupting" from the Roche Tuilière

The Roche Tuilière, at the right hand side, is the remainder of a volcanic eruption that happened a few million years ago. With some imagination, the Milky way looks a lot like a volcanic ash cloud. So what came first - the volcano or the Milky Way ;-)
