The haze creates a nice mood for the leafless, crooked tree. Nice one, Gill. V

Smoky here too - it makes for some interesting subdued images. Too bad they haven't dug graves for the cars!

Beautiful silence view Gill V

Strong sense of depth with the smoke. The car graveyard adds a post-apocalyptic touch. Can't wait until you go there for some images. "V"

Very lovely trees!
I hope the old cars will be a goldmine of photographic opportunities.
I know that you will find them and make amazing work!

Perhaps there are some photogenic rusty old cars there. V

That is a slight disadvantage. Make Lemonade out of Lemons. Look for picture opportunits

eerily attractive...the visual effect is a bit like fog...it has been very smoky down here on the coast too..

Quite an interesting view with all that smoke, but what a pity about the junkyard. V.

I hope that isn't from a wild fire all that smoke? It is a lovely image even if it is smoke. v

pity about the car breakers spoiling otherwise very fine view

Oh man! (intentional silence, cue up the Northern Loon call, add an eagle cry…) Keep an eye on the gardens and only look this way when they hopefully bring in a car crusher. Tariffs on steel might actually help you!

This is a great image but I wonder about the source of the smoke. Is it coming up from our fires? V
