handsome, dashing, distinguished, debonair, chic, stylish...so many words came to mind when looking at this photo..in the end have settled on 'geeky' though...those solar glasses will hardly set a new fashion trend after all

the shadow on Sam's shirt is of Mary, a friendly woman we met...she knew how to wield a compact camera, and offered us each a sip of champagne right after totality

Nice capture of the three of us. Was I the only one looking up at the Sun in this pose? Sadly, the beard did not make the return trip home and was abandoned not long after this photo. Such were the terms from my family in allowing me to spend so much time on the trip without them.
