Finally a a side-view/profile image, c/w a big yawn, of this little Screech Owl. The Owl was again mostly sleeping, seemingly oblivious to the three of us taking its image. After we had been there for a while, both we and the Owl got caught in a down-pour. The Owl seemed quite perturbed by the heavy rain, opening its eyes wide, looking up and moving around on the branch before flying off to its roost hole/cavity. We, well we got quite wet as it was some distance back to our cars. We did get some good eyes-open shots though before the owl disappeared into its roost cavity.
