Top image: Distant shot, about 70% crop. Mom is sitting on eggs. Dad came in for just a short visit, then flew off. Maybe he was told to fetch some Fish and Chips, minus the chips of course.

I like your clarification. Mrs. Eagle might like a few chips on the side. Females tend to have strange cravings during nesting period.
