Ottawa West

My first Moorhen shot in Ottawa West. I've seen and heard them here before several times, but they always seemed to be hiding in the reeds. I have shot them many times in other locations, but it was nice to get a couple of shots of one here before it disappeared in the reeds again. Note the BIG claws.

Good grief, those feet look like they should be on a bird twice its size. Terrific to see and get such a good photo.
