Five consecutive flight shots of a Belted Kinkfisher using the 200-500 mm lens, a monopod and a 1.4 TC.

I normally would not use the 200-500mm VR lens + 1.4 TC for flight or action shots, but that is what I had when shooting the Kingfisher perched on the concrete wall some distance away. The light was quite good; nevertheless, I was surprised/pleased with the relatively good results of the burst of five consecutive flight shots taken at 1/1000 speed.
