Hi Ben!
I just happened to stumble on one of your galleries and then took a short peek at some of the others. Very often I have dreams about photography, about beautiful things that I would want to take pictures of if I only knew how to and had a chance to do so. And your images are so close to what my dreams are that I have to make you my favorite artist (even though I still gotta find out how to do so). I do aprecciate the fact that unlike numerous skilled photographers on Pbase you don't hide the beauty of your pictures behind 200 pixels resolution. Thanks for sharing your joy of photography with others.

Hi Ben
Absolutely great work. I am a professional photographer in australia. A member of the AIPP australian institute of professional photographers. It has been a long time since i have viewed a portfolio of images as good as yours. Ocassionally we all create a great photo, one we are proud of, but only really talented people can produce the consistent level of camera craft that you portray. Thanks heaps for sharing your work. STUNNING!
Cheers

Ben, your photos are incredibly stunning. The head-on Raptor shot is mind blowing. How in the world did you get that shot? I'm an astronomy fan, so obviously I thought very highly of your Aurora shots.

I just wanted to say what everyone else has already said and what you already know...your pictures are astounding. Thank you for sharing them with us, and I hope to see more from you in the near future.

Hello Ben,

Your collection is stunningly beautiful. You capture the beauty of our planet like none I've seen before. I look forward to more of your wonderful photography,(works of art). Loving nature as I do, this is indeed a feast for the eye. Thank you for sharing your great talent.

Saw your Aurora article and came here to see more. The article at LL was really amazing thanks for all the killer shots and concise info, Unlike tornadoes, auroras may still be a practical/possible fantasy to shoot.

BTW, how did you get the Raptor shots?? Equally unreal!!
Guest 05-May-2009 19:51
Hi Ben, read you article about Aurora´s and just wantede to point out that March/april and September/October, usually are the months with the highest number of days with Aurora's.

Love your work.

Hi Ben,

I read your informative article about shooting aurora's. Thanks for sharing the information.

I am a veterinarian that takes people on photo workshops around the world. Last year was Antarctica, this year is Africa, next year is Galapagos. You can find the link to these trips at the web site for my business- Long Beach Animal Hospital.

I notice you shoot at Bolsa Chica, which is 5 minutes away from me. If you ever want to go there and shoot together for kicks let me know. Those Foster's terns seem to get faster every year, and capturing them at the right moment is quite the fun challenge!

Thanks,

Dr. P

Beautiful galleries. I greatly appreciate your comments regarding slot canyons on Luminous Landscape. Particularly timely for me as I'm planning a trip to the region in May.
