Hi,
I am a volunteer at Skidby Windmill and wondered if I could use a photo of the flooding at Lockington 2007 for a small exhibition about weather at the mill.

Regards
Janet

Hi Oddlegs (Paul?)

I run a community website about Skidby Village and I was wondering if amongst your collections you would have any photos taken around the village which you would consider allowing me to display on the site? I would of course credit your work and add a link back to whatever URL you preferred. I recently featured a couple of photos of the mill at night by a photographer called Neil Hutchinson. Feel free to check the site out : www.skidby.net

Regards,
Jim

I have so much enjoyed looking at your photos of Cottingham. I'm not a local; I hadn't even heard of the place before today. But I live a long way from home (from what used to be home), and your evocative and beautiful photos have eased my homesickness a little. Thank you.

Hello Oddlegs,

Being a native of Hull, now living in Australia, I was particularly taken by your collection of old Hull images. Now I see they've been withdrawn. Any chance you'll be putting them back up anytime soon? My wife and I will be in Hull on 24th September 09 for a few weeks and my aim is to try and dig out what I can about old Hull...never know when we might get back again.

Regards, Martin (ex Selby Street and Wheeler Street)

Dear oddlegs,

What a wonderful selection of images. I shall pass these on to my mother, who grew up in Beverley, and therefore obviously spent time in Hull.

Do you have any historic images of Blundell's Corner showing premises of a company called Rose & Co? The reason for my asking is that the company is still trading, and sees its past as an important element of where it is today (a pleasant change!) I'm helping to put a web site together for them, and an old image would be a huge help. If you've got one, we could talk about permission/fee etc. I look forward to hearing from you.

kind regards

Stuart

Hi Oddlegs, greetings from Sunny Nelson, New Zealand, My family emigrated from Hull in 1974, born in Hull in 1937. I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing your photos, bringing back many memories of Hull and giving me an insite into the present Hull, as I have not been back to my birthplace since leaving. Congratulations, please keep up your good work, Maurice Hamson

Hello! Just found your galleries for the first time. What a treat! I especially enjoyed your architectural photography;always nicely exposed and with excellent composition. The landscapes and your other 'well seen' images are also great. It will take me time to look at it all, but I am anxious to start. Lovely stuff. Cheers from Colin @ pbase/agripix

Hi There! Thanks for posting your pics with the Tamron 18-200. I've been thinking of getting this lens, and your pics are helping me decide! I have the Tamron 28-75 which is my favorite lens, but I'd like something for travelling that is more of a 'do all' lens, as you said. Have you done any testing with any of your other lenses to see how the Tamron at the 200mm compares with others? I have the Sigma 18-200, and it seems to be more like 18-135! Thanks for any input.
Sue
