King Spud is an important symbol of potato primacy for Blackfoot, Idaho. He's a cartoon version of a potato, with spindly arms and legs, wearing a royal crown.

The sign was originally located in town, seen when approaching the Potato Museum. It has since been relocated to a road on the other side of town near the airport.
