There are plenty of Bigfoot statues around the northwest, but the one posing next to Blaine's Welcome Center is the first I've seen wearing a pirate costume! The 3,500 pound statue is a certain attention-grabber and invites visitors and locals alike to stop for a selfie. Plenty of photos of the menacing beast without pirate garb can be found on the internet, suggesting that the outfit is a temporary look. Whatever the story is, the pirate theme definitely got my attention.
