North Idaho Trading Company is a quirky little oddity shop prominently featuring a six-foot “mummified mermaid,” along with many other interesting taxidermy specimens. Inside, visitors can find a variety of animals such as a lion, giraffe, hippo, and bison to name a few on display.

It’s not just animal remains that grace the corners of this shop. There is also a human skeleton on display, along with hundreds of firearms, an antique jail cell, musical instruments, and tons of jewelry.
