I'm not a huge fan of sculpture, but I liked the style of this statue, and in particular his dog looking up at him.

Gediminas extended the borders of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, moved the capital to Vilnius and built a powerful chain of defense fortresses. Many things in Vilnius seemed to be named after him.
