I wasn’t going to post this since the sun was obviously blinding, but Stephanie thinks I should since it shows off the lacework design on my abaya so nicely, so here it is ;-). I usually wear sandals and dark-ish socks (if it's cold) with my abayas so my shoes aren’t so obtrusive, but now I wonder why I bother doing that. I have noticed that Saudi women usually wear sneakers with their abayas, often in very startling and neon colors. I have come to the conclusion that it’s a fashion statement and very trendy here at the moment. Guess I should look in my closet…
