The woman who lives in this house on Massachusetts Avenue NE, not far from ours, constantly changes the display in her garden to reflect holidays or seasons of the year. I believe this is meant to celebrate the coming of spring; the last one I posted in March was an Easter motif. I understand her husband is currently serving in Afghanistan, so she does this huge amount of work all on her own.
