The only birds I ever see at the park (or any park around here) are robins and starlings (and very occasionally a sparrow), so they’re what I have to practice on. I’m told there are Baltimore orioles in “great numbers,” but I have yet to see one. Maybe the person who told me that got them confused with robins ;-).
The robins just sit and pose a lot, while the starlings, which I think are really pretty, are constantly on the move looking for food, mainly in the shade, and thus are harder to capture.
