Perky bird on a garage

This mockingbird (thanks to Hank for the ID!) looked very cute sitting on our neighbor’s garage across the alley. I also saw our resident male cardinal, but unfortunately had taken my flash card upstairs and couldn’t get a picture of him.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

I've never seen a mocking bird before. I'd always assumed they were exotic and gaudy! This one is so elegant and subdued.
