Taking a snooze

A sparrow, taken from our back deck. I sit out there for an hour or so every day, watching for birds and enjoying the fresh air, but sparrows are usually all I see, and they don’t hang around for long. I don’t know where the cardinals, starlings and others have gone, although occasionally a fearless robin shows up.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Excellent, sharp shot of him or her, even if caught napping. I have found a few new ones around my house in the last few days including the one I posted yesterday. I am trying to spend an hour or so in the late afternoon when the light is good "hunting" for them. ~BV~

Nice napping capture very nice resolution and bokeh.
Very nice pose while napping.
Bird photography takes time there are times when you
do not have an opportunity to get a good photo.
And other time you get many.
