"Beaten But Not Broken"
My parents bought me a socket set with this ratchet some 47 years ago when I was working on my first car a 1962 Nova 2 door post.
I have used it as a hammer when to lazy to crawl out from under the car one more time, also it has had a hammer beat on it from the evidence on the handle.
I have newer ratchets but this has always been the "go to". I don't know how many vehicles this has touched but it has been a few.
