We've been having heavy showers on and off for several days and nights. I've lost count of how many there have been.

These turkeys seem to always show up after a rain to hang around my front slope and the cul de sac so they can preen themselves and poke around for insects.

I happened to have a macro lens on the camera when I saw them and decided I might as well use it, and it did a great job. Very sharp! Didn't even have to sharpen the image after I resized it down. (It was originally a raw converted to TIF in DxO Photolab.
