...and my son's sautéed green beans with lots of garlic. A heavenly delicious combination.
End-trimmed green beans (the fresher the better) blanched for about 5 minutes in salted water, then sautéed in olive olive with a generous amount of thinly sliced garlic. (You don't want it too thin or it will burn while getting the green beans to wrinkle.) Make sure to sprinkle with kosher salt when done.
