While waiting for the 35th anniversary concert of the Hendersonville (NC) Symphony, I had a chance to settle on a proper exposure. I came up with a minus 1 full stop exposure compensation because the highlights really looked overexposed in review mode and I learned I can really trust that mode to give me an true indication of my exposure. I really don't need a histogram. I still saw very bright highlights and probably could have given even more compensation. I chose ISO 1600 because 800 would have resulted in too slow shutter speeds. We were in the seventh row and 3X zoom really wasn't enough. Most of the following pictures are heavily cropped. (Click on "next" to see the image from which this was cropped.)
