60 degrees in November begs for an outing. Though it took almost two hours of sitting in a car, Renu and I made it outside.
The Garden for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ,(somewhere that I have been incorrectly referring to as the Sculpture Garden) was a new experience for both of us. The grounds were lovely. There were pieces of art, small and large, realistic and abstract, scattered. Many were nestled in the maze of shrubs and paths.
I noticed that the Sun was sitting so low on the horizon, though it was still early afternoon. So, even in the ideal, the sun provides just a subtle warmth.
And, during these times that lack the full glory of a splendid day, I guess we have to just bundle up a little, hold on...and remember that our hemisphere of the Earth will soon tilt towards the Sun again. For now, we peak over the horizon to catch a glimps to remind us, just as the Sun continues to peak over too.
