That's true, though my trusty SX40 traveled a lot, including several unkind environments.
30-40 thousand people visit Antarctica each season. A small number, but still surprising
to some. A missed season means a lot of pent-up demand. We were actually booked on
a November sailing but cancelled. The ship we were to be on was fogged in during the
solar eclipse, so we didn't miss that particular highlight.

Sensor dust on a camera with a non-interchangeable lens?
I admit I am a oddball, instead of focusing on a spectacular scene that only a very small number of the worlds population gets to experience what do I first see… sensor dust. Micro irrelevant details…yet! You can say it, I accept I’m a oddball. Paul
