Hi Jim...

I found your astonishing PaD while I was surfing on the net (I was in search of inspiration around the concept of "Don't Look Back"... sounds familiar to you? ^^)

Is it possible to contact you by e-mail? ...I have a very little request regarding one of your shots.

all the best, Francesco aka Lox

Hi
I have just stumbled across your galleries and they are going straight into my favourites.
Great pictures and wonderful stories.
A life less ordinary.

After you commented on my PaD I figured I could check yours out. I am glad I did because it has motivated me not to just take snapshots for my PaD anymore but try to work more on the quality of the photograph and to include more of a caption to help people understand what the photo means to me. As a side note, I am originally from Amherst so that reinforces that the world is small. I haven't been there much after joining the Navy but I will be returning to the area in the spring as a recruiter. Keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration.

Jim,
Remember me?
I came upon your PaD and was blown away, you have a great talent for slowing down and really seeing life - its an amazing gift. I was glad to see your beautiful family (Hailey and Hannah look a lot like you when you were young!) I have enjoyed looking through your galleries, keep up the great work.
Peace, Jen O'Malia (McNeil)

Found your PAD over the weekend and spent a quiet evening pouring over your life observations. Great stuff! Better than a novel, because it is about a REAL person. It sucked me in and I'm hooked. Have you in my favorites and have been checking out some of yours. You are a very talented person, not only in photography but also a very gifted and insightful writer. I hope you continue that as well, I always love to know the story behind the photo, wish more people would do that. Thanks for entertaining me this past weekend, sorry about your recent accident, hope all is better soon.

By my calculations, your wife is 40 weeks pregnant today. When is that baby coming?!! I keep waiting for the announcement, checking in several times a day. Hope it happens soon!

Just spent about a half hour reading your stories. A lot more intersting than doing comments. Cheers, Lloyd&Sandy

Welcome to Pbase, Jim...you'll find everyone here, pros, hobbyists, experimentals, serious amatateurs...it's a good place to learn and be inspired. And yes, after awhile, you do start to look at things differently...everything becomes framed in your mind's eye. It's fun!
Happy Holidays,
Doria
