Over the next year we are going to some exotic places so we figured it might be a good idea to see what vaccinations and medicines we should take on the trips. The places include Chile, Argentina, Easter Island and India. We provided out itineraries and the Houston Methodist Executive (who, us?) Health Services Travel Department prepared a complete briefing for all those exotic places. We spent an hour with a nurse who had prepared material that went through all the health related topics. Bug spray and sunscreen seemed to be a major topic. We learned that yellow fever vaccinations were not recommended for us because of age. We ended up with prescriptions for malaria pills and Cipro.
Todays picture was taken to remember where we parked. The parking garage has about a dozen floors. I am not a big fan of driving up and down so many floors. But that is life in the big city.
