Another cooking project today. I like vegetables as long as they are not bland tasting. I have been working on a creamed green pea dish that is really good. It starts with mirepoix, a combination of chopped onions, celery and carrots. I sauté that stuff then make a well seasoned pan sauce and add the peas. I put it into a dish then top with buttered bread crumbs. About 20-30 minutes in the oven and I have a feast.
