There are lots of competitions held during the Tapati Festival on Easter Island. This particular one caught Ginny's attention. It was a cat's cradle competition for youngsters. It wasn't just making the cradles, it also included a narration by the girl as she was doing the hand weaving.
Some years ago, a friends young daughter tried to teach me how to make Cats Cradles.
I failed dismally. I never managed to make one cross in the middle. This young lady has a row of them.
