We joined up with a new Road Scholar touring group today. The first touring on the agenda was a walk through central Santiago. This makes the fourth time into the area. One place we visited (again!) was the Catedral de Santiago. As I walked around and listened to the dialog I was drawn to this solid silver altar set in one side chapel. It was built by the Jesuits quite a while ago. I kept wondering how they polished it.
