precious light

Living on the north facing side of the valley the sun appears late and goes early,
every minute of light is precious.

Last weekend I met a proper photographer called Peter Elliott up here trying to catch the sun coming up behind the elephant trees.
I hope he got the shot.

See what happens when you live in the wrong half of the world...you would never be in darkness on the north side here ;>)...The elephant trees are looking good way over there on the hill.
