Cricket

This is about as close as I want to be to the game of cricket, I could hear the crowd cheering as England beat New Zealand.

When plans were announced in the early 1990s to build a world class cricket venue in our local park, I knew it would never come to anything......

Lovely to see so many trees there... did the locals put up a fuss re the lights?
Ours did, but they still went up, and now no one fusses any more. Hope the Aussies went
