The tower. Crowned by a four-armed cross, it has a cylndrical base and a staircase within.As a crowning piece for the roof, Gaudí planned a bulbous shaped tower, which was made in the Island of Mallorca, topped with a cross pointing towards the four cardinal points.High up in the tower, Gaudí put the anagrams of the Holy Family: IHS for Jesus, M for Mary, which is crowned by the ducal crown and JHP for Joseph.
