Pavelló de Ntra.Sra.de Montserrat

This pavilion is one of the ten wards of the Hospital of Sant Pau that were built simultaneously in the first phase of work on the site between 1902 and 1912. Designed by Lluis Domenech i Montaner was initially designated as IV-Or, being the fourth and final pavilion of the West Wing, or women´s wing. Designed originally as a female general surgery pavilion, el Pavelló de la Mare de Déu de Montserrat is distinguished from other pavilions for women by having one more floor than the others.

They don't build them like they used to. A beautiful building and photo.

Excellent capture of this beautiful building, and in perfect light. I went to compare it with my own pictures, and realized I haven't yet processed them. Guess that's my next project! V.
