The public park of Can Campassol in Malgrat de Mar, is one of the most peaceful places in the town.The area was reopened in 2003 when it was extended and adapted to the new use planned for it. In the colonial house in the park we can find the Casal per als Jubilats – a leisure area for the retired – and previously it was home to Zenòbia Camprubí, wife of Nobel Prize for Literature winner Juan Ramon Jiménez. Some of the flowers in the gardens were planted by local school children.The park also has a bar, inside the house, and a children’s play area. All kinds of events are held here, especially during the town festival and on other important dates.
