I have had a lot of juvenile House Finch starting way back in early May. I don't think they are very photogenic so I ignored them.
This is the first young Purple Finch I have gotten a good look at, which surprises me because the adults have been around a long time.
Looking through my juvenile photos, I find one other in 2011 but this one is a better look.
