This gallery is a compilation of photo's I've taken to help me ID birds. Most are not of the best quality but are great in helping me remember what I'm looking at once the bird has flown off. Most of my earlier pictures are taken with a Sony Mavica CD-400, sometimes w/ a 2X or 4X Teleconverter. I've also tried to digiscope through my 10x42 binos or a 22x Busnell Spotting Scope. The bushnell scope is now gone and I have a Swarovski STS-80HD w/30X Eyepiece. Another camera I've used lately is my wife's Kodak C-875 Digital Zoom Camera which took a fall and has been replaced by a Fugi while digiscoping. I have added a new main camera to my stable, a CANON EOS Rebel XSI with either a 18-55mm lens or a 70-300mm telephoto . Another lens I've added is a Tamron 200-500mm telephoto. Enjoy.
