In Hirzel lebte und wirkte Johanna Spyri, die Autorin der weltberuehmten HEIDI-Bücher von 1827 - 1901.
Dieses Haus mit dem Museum ist das alte Schulhaus (erbaut 1660), wo Johanna Spyri zur Schule ging.

In Hirzel lived Johanna Spyri (1827-1901), the author of the world famous storys about HEIDI.
This house with the museum is the old schoolhouse (built in 1660), where Johanna Spyri went to school.

I still cry when I see the movie "Heidi" on television and I am getting very old.
